Valentines and more

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! ...ok, So I'm a little late. It's been a crazy past couple of weeks (apparantly Tucker's felt the craziness too- note exhibit A below)

Valentines was filled with fun making sugar cookies for daddy and Oma and Opa who came on the 15th.

Did I say 'making' sugar cookies? We were lucky to have any on the plate left to give them! :)

Valentines for Rudy and I was celebrated when Oma and Opa came and we were able to go out for the night to the school dance! It was really fun to get all dressed up and go to a school dance (albeit VERY different than my high school experiences). There was all kinds of really good food, a raffle, a small casino downstairs, and plenty of music to get our groove on (although not many people got any groove on until they were sufficiently plastered...I and Rudy NOT included :) Mormons are always good at being completely sober yet hyper enough to seem drunk ;) It was a fun night nonetheless and we came home way after curfew! (good thing Oma and Opa didn't wait up for us :)

After a long night at the dance, we all took a trip to Williamsburg and saw some of the historical sights. It was really fun walking up and down the streets, they have it set up so you can almost transport yourself back in time.

We just had to take a picture of this. 'Tucker" is all over the place around here. Little did we know we'd be naming our son after 5 street names, a hospital, a high school and plenty of prominent dead people :)

Oma and Opa doing what they do best...spoiling Tucker :)

It was really fun to have Rudy's parents here. They are so fun and generous and Tucker finally got down 'Oma' and 'Opa' (mostly 'Oma' before they left)...now he still walks around the house saying, 'Oma'? We love being out here and the experiences we're having, but it'll be really nice to be closer to family someday!

Just updating

We always get comments on his beautiful blue eyes....thought I'd get a photo to see if it was true! :)
Superbowl party with the Ruckers

It's been a relatively uneventful past few weeks. (Besides the fun birthday celebration/superbowl party we had on my birthday with the Ruckers. ...and the food poisoning I got the day before that to spoil Rudy's cute plans of taking me out for my bday.) Rudy's been going pretty solidly 8-5 in school this semester. He's seeing patients and even giving them shots! Yikes! He's going to get more practice with that when they get in groups and the students give each other shots! :) Doesn't that sound like fun?? I've just been having a blast with Tucker as he discovers the world. I love this age! He's learning a TON every day and being so dang cute about it! He's really trying to learn as many words as he can and tries to imitate everything Rudy and I do. It's really fun to watch him do Tae-bo with me! :) It's so fun to watch the personality start to really take shape. Speaking of taking shape...my belly is growing exponentially. I don't really grow much the first half of the pregnancy, but it's like a switch is turned on at week 21 and I make up for all the non-growing PLUS more! I think I'm already at volleyball status...I'm going to exceed basketball with this one!
Well, not much to talk about, just rambling because I CAN because Tucker is down for a nap and I actually get time to myself (not having to work during nap time on Friday's is a wonderful thing!) Life is good!
