Random fun!

I love my family!  I love crazy kids and lots of energy and silly fun that's created by these wonderful little people (and sometimes instigated by the bigger people)!

This version of fun wasn't so fun.  Yes, that's blood.  She was randomly walking down the hall when a frame literally just fell off the wall and conked her in the head!!   Took us a while to find out it wasn't as bad as her bloody hairy mess made it look!

A trip to a science museum

Whew!  That was exhausting!

Thanksgiving and the 28 pound turkey!

We got a very large bird from a friend from church- Kyla wasn't so sure about it (probably because it weighed one and a half times as much as she does! :)
What better way to enjoy a very big bird than with sharing it with lots of people!
We had a some friends over with their kids- 27 people in all!

Everyone brought super yummy food!  It definitely was a fun day of feasting!

Oma and Opa's Visit

Oma and Opa came out mid-November to play and hang for a little bit (and get some dental work done by one of the best dentists around ;)

Opa brought some wooden model kits to do with the boys... turns out it was more for the BIG boys :)

Thanks for all the good times and lots o fun!  We love you guys!

Octoberfest!

After our extremely fun trip to South Bend, we took the 12 hour drive back in one day with my parents and they were able to stay for an additional week o fun!  We had a great time playing games, dressing up, going to soccer games and halloween activities and all kinds of other randomness.

One night Rudy even bought Kroger out of all their kinds of Private Selection ice cream and we had our own 31 flavors ice cream binge night!  mmmmm.... :)

The kids loved hanging out with Nana and Papa

And, of course, being October (and the just Wolf household) the days were filled with all kinds of random dress up fun!

We were even able to do a little bit of sight seeing (the little bit we hadn't done yet in the area :)

Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest (basically his vacation home built in similar manner to Monticello)

The National D-Day memorial in Bedford.

The kids had their school Halloween parties...

Nana and Papa left just before Halloween and missed our Halloweenie meal of brains, hearts, slime and eyeballs and worms...I think they were really disappointed! :)
